About Us
Turning Interest Into Action
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. U.S.R. Indu Samiti emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Established in 1998, we’re an organization driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support.
U.S.R. Indu Samiti knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 1998, our Non-Profit Organization realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch U.S.R. Indu Samiti.
U.S.R. (Late Shri Umed Singh Rawat) Indu Samiti was founded with opening a School for Differently Abled at its headquarter; Basai, Peerumadara, Ramnagar, District Nainital in 1998 by Mr. Sandeep Rawat in the aegis of his grandfather Shri Umed Singh Rawat (founder of Samiti).
Samiti is a registered society, registered under Society Registration Act 1860, PWD Act 1995, National Trust Act 1999, Income Tax Act 1961 and (FCRA) Foreign Contribution Regulation Act 1976.
